Another little post about Elias, and how he shocks me. As blogged previously, Elias started attending a little preschool for 3 hours a day, 2 times a week. And while the first day was awesome, I soon realized, he didn't know what was happening when I dropped him off. Since that day, he has either cried or whined at drop off (but they tell me for only a couple minutes). I was having my doubts about starting him so young.... he is only just 2. But, I desperately needed a little time to myself a couple days a week. (Something that is hard for me to get since we don't live near family or friends who help out). Anyhow, as we stood in line for drop off this morning, as soon as his preschool door opened, he ran into class without even saying good bye or looking back...... sniff sniff (on my part this time). What a big boy he is becoming, now maybe I can leave him with a sitter when we go on date night.... a whole other issue... we have a sitter come after the kids are asleep to avoid conflict. Well I ramble, Aloha.
