Gratitude for conversations with a 3 year old

Me:  We get to go to your uncle's wedding next month and you get to wear nice new dress pants, a red shirt, and a black tie.

My 3 year old: I am not wearing a tie (having no idea what a tie is), that is embarrassing (having no idea what embarrassing means), I am wearing my batman costume.

Me: No, you aren't wearing your batman costume (almost busting out laughing),

My 3 year old: Then, I'm not going!!! (folding arms, and pursing lips)

Me: Okay, but you will be here by yourself and mommy and daddy and Emma are all going on a plane...

My 3 year old: (breaks angry face) eh, (shows  more interest) a plane?
