Gratitude for entertaining people...

My gratitude today is different, kinda more of a story.  At my gym, all the treadmills are lined up in front of a huge window looking outside.  So, naturally, I tend to people watch, but what I experienced today was beyond my expectations.
As I began my run, I noticed a man on his bicycle riding circles in front of the gym in the parking lot.  Now, this is a semi busy parking lot, so as he is making his circles, he is dodging cars, or should I say it was more like cars were dodging him.  His circle was only about 30 feet in diameter and  I watched him do this for 20 minutes straight.  No kidding, he must've made 100 circles.  After he satisfied what ever need he had to do continuous circles, he ritually got off his bike near the sidewalk, then got back on, then off, then on, then off.  This sequence went on for another 3 minutes.  After that, he got off his bike, and lifted his bike to the bike rack near the door, careful not to let it touch the sidewalk.  You read right, he didn't want his bicycle to touch the sidewalk, and on top of that, he used one foot to rotate his pedal around and around (while keeping it above ground).  Very peculiar.  I then noticed him take his lock out of his bag, put it on, then take it off, put it on, then take it off.... you guessed it another sequence that went on and on.  He then was talking to his bike for several minutes, and I wish I could hear what he was saying.  Finally, he left his bike and started circling the parking lot on foot.
Now, by this time, I was done with my run.
The purpose of my story is not to poke fun at this strange man, or to point out that he most likely has a compulsive disorder.  My purpose is to to admit that I was shocked how quickly the time passed while I was on my run, and for that I was grateful!!!
