Quick update

Okay, wow, already a month since I last blogged. Summer has arrived in full intensity. Yes, it's hot. And not having air conditioning is definitely hard to deal with. Some days, it gets to 86 degrees... inside the house. It's sticky, it's hot, and we all get a little aggravated with each other.

But also with summer weather, comes all of our summer plans. Emma is back in swimming and moved up a level in gymnastics. You can usually find her practicing handstands, anywhere that space will permit. And Elias is just at the age that he repeats every little thing she does. So, he is also perfecting his handstand. Elias enjoys being read to and Emma loves to read and gets excited to read to anyone who will listen. She is also very excited to start Kindergarten, but that is still a couple months away.

We are hosting a series of visitors this summer we are really excited about.... Hollie comes this weekend with a friend to enjoy the city nights. Brandon's dad and Jared, and JJ come a couple weeks from now to enjoy some baseball games (an Emma and I are headed to do girlie stuff). And rounding out the summer, my parents and grandparents, and 4 of my brothers and sisters come to visit and take my kids back to SL with them. That means, eight additional people in my home at one time, for a total of 12.... if any of you 12 are reading this, can you say crowded? Remember I live in a small,little bay area home, not something big and roomy!!!! Just come with an open mind! All in all, we are really excited to finally have visitors again. It's always nice to have family near by, the hard thing is letting them go back home.
