Brandon gets a new job

Well, the time has come for Brandon to move on to bigger and better things and he has now had the option of beginning a day job in the same department, but all days and no weekends or mid shifts. Needless to say, he took it. This means no more Monday morning on the beach, but it also means, no more putting the kids to bed by myself or spending Holidays without a hubby. It is going to be soooo nice, but definitely weird, he has never had a normal job since we have been married. And that has been 8 years now. So, finally , we will get into a normal schedule of how normal people run their normal lives... well almost, he has told me the hours are like 8 to 3 and I know that normal jobs aren't that nice, so we are enjoying while we can and soaking up the time together as a family here in paradise.

Meanwhile, family update, Elias is teething with all four molars on the way in, he is not fun to be around, day or night. I feel sorry for him, but I almost feel more sorry for the rest of us. He is running around and would live outside if I would let him. I have mentioned it before, but man he gets dirty and quickly.

Emma is in preschool, swim, gymnastics, and soon soccer. She really would like to try her hand at dance, but I haven't found the perfect spot yet and I want her to love it so I am not pushing it..... yet. HAH.

And Brandon is still surfing every spare second he gets, and I mean that literally, if the kids are going down for a nap, he knows that is a good thing for him because he can catch the surf for a couple of hours.

And I am just getting the kids Halloween costumes together, Em decided she wanted to be a ghost (strange, because she is always dressing up as a princess) and in that spirit I am making Elias be a mummy. I am making both costumes, as they should be fairly easy! Well that's it from here.

Shout out to Jenni, get a blog and let me know when you do. And also to the Levine girls, miss your play dates!
