Happy New Year

I am so excited to start 2011.  I blogged before that I am going ot base my resolutions this year around the thought

" The days are long, the years are short." 

I feel that this will help me to live each moment and enjoy every second of each day more with my husband and children.  To be more specific, I am making a concrete resolution every week to stick to for the entire 7 days.  I am almost through this week's resolution of " being extremely nice."  Let me explain: I have found that I may or may not have been as nice as I should have been with my most prized possesion, my family.  Why is it that we treat people on the street that we've only just met with such niceness, but we have no qualms to holler or attack someone in our own family circle?  So this week, I was extremely nice, especially to my husband (who I don't think even noticed).  I endured endless board games, many back tickles, way too much of playing video games, and so many little tasks that I would normally complain about doing. I have to say that it is very fullfilling to be so nice and outgoing towards the ones you love most.  Who deserves it more?

I hope everyone has had a great year.  Looking forward to a bigger and better 2011.
