It's been so long since I have posted and I feel like so much has happened. Since Auntie's arrival we have seen the whole island like we did when we first moved here. It's good closure for our departure from the Navy.
Auntie has turned 23 (today in fact), and seems to have settled into the kids routine. She is just like me and that makes us pick and bicker with each other. Ahh, to be back when we were teenagers again. No kidding, I have never met anyone who was more like me in almost every way. The biggest being our dramatic mood swings. We remind each other how lucky we are to have men in our lives that are able to put up with this awful attribute.
Emma is loving play dates which are now happening more frequently and without constant supervision of adults. She had her best friend over yesterday for the day and Elias now thinks he also has a new best friend. She is going to her first real sleepover this weekend, I am excited for her.
Elias has now turned into my little buddy. He is potty trained, and just now is sleeping in a big boy bed. A transition I was hesitant to make since I loved the idea of him being contained in one place in our home. But he has done really well. FLASHBACK: I would have to sit by Emma's bed for hours to get her to stay in bed and fall asleep at night, I hard time for the both of us. And I know of some people who had to hold their children's door closed so they would stay in their room (you know who you are). But not Elias, he stays in his bed and calls out when he is ready to get up. He likes the idea of being big in every way.
Brandon and I just got iPhones, and I swear, and this is going to sound silly, but it changes your life. They are everything you need at your fingertips. Thanks to Dusty and Jared for instilling a small bug in Brandon's ear.
I hope this little post finds all of you doing as well as we are here in our nice tropical warm 85 degree weather... LOL to all my Utah readers.
We miss and Love you all-Aloha

Hmm, well I am glad to hear that Elias was better at a big boy bed than say a certain nephew...That certain nephew still gets me up some nights...He definitely is a big boy now, and he is going to drive Emma crazy soon! :) Lexi came home from school yesterday asking me to talk to Jakson about finding his own friends at recess...Jakson thinks that he is as old as Lexi and can do the same things...It really gets to be hard some days.
SO glad you have your Iphones!! They are amazing, and so many apps, that can make your life feel more organized. Plus, how about the voice memo, and just being able to text it over. Amazing...it was so easy for Jared to start over when he started laughing the other night.
I am glad you have had some quality time with your sister, enough so you guys can bicker...:) I hope she had a wonderful birthday.
As we speak, I am in sweats, socks and t-shirt, wrapped in a blanket...enjoy your 85 degrees, cause it isn't going to be for long....any idea of where you may be headed after this? Just wondering if I should stop looking at potential homes for sale around here...;)
