Maui Vacation

We just returned from beautiful Maui. the Islands here never cease to amaze me. This Island is full of luxurious and soft sand beaches. We must have visited 8 different beaches while we were there and I could not get enough of them. Emma developed a love for boogie boarding, Elias for jumping in the pool (which we also frequented every day), and Brandon even managed to get some surfing in right outside our beach house. I loved sitting on the lanai or on the beach and relaxing while the sun beat down on me. (Most relaxing during nap time of course.)

We also went on hikes, went to the aquarium, visited the quaint little towns near by, but my absolute favorite was our snorkel trip to Molokini (a small crater about an hour out of Maui). We went out on a catamaran and saw whales breaching, blowing, and swimming along side their calves. It was awesome. Then once there, we all got in the water and snorkeled. Brandon is an expert at snorkeling and I am just coming around. Emma puts her face in the water, and Elias got to ride on a little board that has glass viewing area it so he could see all the fish too. It was an amazing trip and I love that my kids got that experience.

I will attach some pictures below, but I am also updating my slide shows in Picasa (so you can click on the slide shows on the left). Our entire trip will be there. Along with Easter and Brandon and I's fabulous child-less trip to the Big Island. We enjoyed a weekend while some of our close friends watched the kids here in Oahu. It's funny how you wish you had the time away from the kiddos , and when you get it, you only wan to to be with them.

Hope all is going great with everyone else. Aloha

Love the pictures. Elias looks so much more grown up from just a few months ago. :( Speaking of 'can't wait to be in there lives'!!! I'm glad that you guys had a great trip!! Even better for you and Brandon to get away for a few. It's always nice, but even nicer to back to the kids....Miss you guys...

I am SO envious. I decided that I am going to spend the month a month in Hawaii this winter. Your kids are adorable.

I hate it when i read the comment after I have already published it and it doesn't make sense. It is supposed to say "Spend a month in Hawaii" not "the month a month" I hate that.
