Fall is not in the air

That's right. No fall for the Ferran's this year. We are celebrating summer all year. I have to admit that I miss the cool nights of Seattle or the brisk air in Salt Lake. But then I remember the rain and the snow that accompany those breezes, and I am thankful for where I am. It is really nice to be in shorts and tanks still. And I wear these old flip flops all year too.

The colors don't change, still green as ever. Except for the artificial leaves I use to decorate to welcome in the fall. And the weather is consistent too... 80s. It's a little odd to put out the fall and Halloween decor and then worry that the pumpkins may rot before Halloween night due to the heat and sun. In fact , we have been told that we must wait until Halloween day to carve, and then hope they last the evening. None the less, we are so excited to do it.

So, all you out there enjoying the fall colors and the crisp air, just remember I am still soaking up the sun on the beach~~
