The snail that needs a new home....

Okay, this is so weird. We live in a climate where I see bugs that I've never seen before. And this is no exception. While my family was here, I noticed a huge sea shell in my flower garden. It was the size of my brother's hand (really big). When I examined it closer, I noticed there was a snail living in it, and it too was very large!!!! YUCK. I had my brother find it a new home in the storm drain in front of my house. Unfortunately, when it fell down the drain, you could hear it crack, oh well, too bad I thought. Well, I don't know if they have the same type of life as roaches or what, but that little sucker survived this 3 foot drop and made it to the neighbors storm drain, came up and found it's way back to my driveway, apparently on the way to my yummy flower garden again. I know it's the same one, because the shell was cracked. This time he wasn't as lucky, I don't think he will find himself in this predicament again. How weird is that? Brandon said he was probably a she and trying to get back to her children to care for them..... could he make me feel more guilty? Too bad little snail.... find a new home!!!
