Elias is ONE!!!

My baby is no longer a baby. He is walking around and pretty soon he is going to give Emma a run for her money. We had a small party for him on Saturday and he got a couple of gifts that we chuckled at after he opened them becasue we realized we had bought some age inappropriate toys for him. Let me explain... he has all of Em's baby toys, so there is virtually nothing he doesn't have. So, we had to think really hard about what to buy him. We ended up wiht a bubble machine, which would have been wonderful had I actually looked closely enough to realize it is not any ordinary bubble machine but a "big-ger" kids bubble machine with attachments and doo-dads. Needless to say, Emma is enjoying it. We also got him a little basketball hoop, well that isn't quite "little" enough either. Soon, little guy, soon. We made it a great day by heading to the beach and enjoying the surf and sun. We all love the beach. Happy First Birthday Elias!
